and sent to Alderman Moore
for his consideration.

Proposal not defeated yet. Be careful of cheering a battle win while the larger war wages. Joey can still grant the exemption. The committee makes recommendations to Joe. Their vote is non-binding. And let's say Joey goes with them -- this time. Do we really think that Connie is done with attempts to maximize this property?
No, Connie is not done. Not by a long shot. (Don't let the fact that I put down $20 in another comment she was fool you...that was just for fun.)
(And again, sorry to keep beating this horse, but what she proposed was not necessarily "in violation" of the ordinance - the language of the thing is just not written that way. Okay, I'll stop now.)
Paradise you are right about that building on Wellington...let that serve as a cautionary tale to the residents of Lakeview and to us all.

Hugh - it's on Wellington just east of Broadway, on the north side of the street. It is plainly visible from Broadway...
