Another Diabolical Scheme

Excuse me 99, my shoe phone is ringing. Chief? Max here. Oh……..Well, I was just reminding you…Sorry Chief.
Hhhhmmm………I see. Got it.
What is it Max?
Well 99, Chief says there is another diabolical scheme.
Kaos Max?
No 99. The scheme is being concocted by a little known, ultra top secret shadow organization known as KIMSARGON.
What does that stand for Max
EVIL 99. Plain and simple. Chief says the 7640 North Sheridan Road Building has been sold.
But Max, that building was already sold by BongKim to Beachwood Development and they were proceeding with the plans to build a six story building on that corner.
That’s right 99.
The six story building was to have about 45 condo units, 4 CPAN units and would include the liquor store in the same location after they finished construction.
That’s exactly right, 99. How did you know, 99?
You told me Max.
Oh. But 99, here’s what I didn’t tell you and this is the diabolical scheme. When Beachwood Development acquired financing at Parkway Bank, the mysterious and evil BONGKIM sold the property AGAIN to the nefarious slumlord known as ISAACSARGON under a cleverly disguised legal maneuver known as a quitclaim.
Max, that’s not very nice.
No, 99, it isn’t. But it gets worse. ISAACSARGON used his son’s PETERSARGON’S name on the quitclaim and he is now the legal owner of 7640 North Sheridan.
How can that be Max?
Well 99, it gets worse. In July 2005, Beachwood Liquors was served with a five day eviction notice and ordered to leave after 24 years of being in business.
Just like that, Max.
Yes 99, just like that. 99, it gets worse. Beachwood Liquors and Beachwood Development went to housing court as partners in a lawsuit to oust the evil PETERSARGON.
What happened Max?
They lost. Each time they went to court, the evil SARGONS would hiss that the SHERIFF was coming that day to kick them out. Just a few weeks ago, Beachwood Liquors had to post a $70K eviction bond to remain while the case goes to a higher court.
Max, the SARGONS are evil.
Yes they are 99. It gets worse.
Worse, Max?
Yes 99, I’m afraid so. BONGKIM is hiding in California and not answering any of his phone calls.
That’s not very nice, Max. Why are there a pink and an orange notices on the window of Biddy Mulligan’s?
That’s what the Chief wants us to find out 99. The Chief thinks something is fishy.
So do I Max.
Yes, 99. Chief says the SARGONS are slumlords.
I think the Chief is right Max.
That’s why he’s the Chief 99.
