Harbor Point Community Apartments,

The 1283-unit Harbor Point is the nation's first federal housing project to be converted to private, mixed-income housing. It serves as a national model for redeveloping public housing, and a predecessor to the Department of Housing and Urban Development's HOPE VI program.Harbor Point was once Columbia Point, a 1500-unit public housing project where only 350 units were occupied, the rest, boarded up and condemned. Developers Corcoran, Mullins, Jennison formed a partnership with the resident council to redevelop the property and today, it is jointly owned and managed by the elected resident task force and the developer. The $250,000,000 redevelopment cost was financed through a complex package of private and public loans and private equity, including tax credits. Harbor Point is the recipient of many awards, including awards from the Urban Land Institute, the FIABCI Award for International Excellence, and the Rudy Bruner Award.

The former Ellen Wilson housing project was condemned by the District of Columbia in 1988. In 1991, the Ellen Wilson Community Development Corporation was organized by citizens with the mission of selecting a development team to redevelop the vacant site. The project was financed by a $26 million HOPE VI grant from the Department of Housing and Community Development and the District of Columbia's Department of Housing and Community Development. The Townhomes vary in height from two to four stories to keep consistent with the buildings in the Capitol Hill Historic District. The handsome Victorian brick facades have earned it the American Institute of Architects' 1998 Honor Award for Urban Design Excellence; the National Association of Homebuilders "Pillars of the Industry Award" for 2000, and Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence 2000.
Doubletree Hotel Boston

The 268-room Doubletree Hotel Boston - Downtown is an example of Corcoran Jennison working with a Boston neighborhood to come up with a creative development solution. When a closed high school became available in a desirable downtown Boston site, other proposals advocated replacing the high school with a parking lot. Nearby, the Chinatown YMCA had been operating in a dilapidated structure for 27 years. Along with it's proposal to convert the old school to a hotel, CJ offered the Y the high school's extensive athletic area. Today the new 45,000 square foot Wang YMCA at Chinatown includes a swimming pool, fitness facility, basketball court running track, and community and day care space. Keeping in mind its Chinatown location, the Doubletree Hotel Boston - Downtown is Boston's first feng shui hotel. The hotel features Wisteria, a full service restaurant and café designed by Peter Niemitz who also designed The Capital Grille, nationwide; Legal Seafoods, nationwide; Red Clay, The Eliot Hotel, and Rialto in Massachusetts.
Fuller Village,
Milton, MADeveloper: Corcoran Jennison Companies Milton Fuller Housing Corporation, Inc. a nonprofit entity, retained Corcoran Jennison, Inc. as a fee developer to finance, develop and construct Fuller Village.
Fuller Village is a 32-acre estate in Milton, MA featuring for-sale and rental residences. An optional service package is available for residents to purchase meals, housekeeping, personal care and laundry service. Twenty-five percent of the development is affordable for lower income residents.
Fuller Village is the recipient of the best of Seniors Design Awards, 2003. This prestigious award is presented annually by the Seniors Housing Council of the National Association of Homebuilders.
